Reactiv Pictures approached me looking for someone to rig and animate, "A scooter that twerks".
Though I don't consider myself a character animator, I do love an opportunity to animate objects like characters, and so I agreed to join them for this production.

Building on top of a sourced Vespa model, many modifications were made to create an out-of-this-world gaudy Pizza Delivery Machine that would set the tone for the spot. I handled the look of the scooter, creating shaders in Redshift that would then be converted to Octane by Andrew Penchuk, who lit and shaded the rest of the scene.
Rigging
Rigging began very early on as a robust fleshed-out rig would largely determine how the animation could be executed. A combination of IK chains and xpresso networks created all the controls needed to drive the final animation.
